Mediation in the workplace improves employee interactions. Collaborative Solutions provides confidential and neutral mediation of conflict between individuals, groups, teams and organizations in Denver, Colorado and nationwide.

We tailor our approach to the goals of parties, giving participants choices in the type of mediator support they prefer. Collaborative Solutions does not ‘push’ participants toward a particular agenda.

Interpersonal Conflict Resolution

We specialize in mediating conflicts between people who must maintain ongoing relationships – at work, in their neighborhood, community group, school, or professional association.

We support constructive articulation of differences and joint problem solving for shared solutions. We encourage understanding of context, goals, patterns, consequences, emotions, communication, conflict styles, triggers, alternative approaches, and change.

Outcomes include agreements on specific issues, as well as improved conflict interaction and more effective relationships.

Workplace Conflict Resolution

We mediate disputes between individuals and groups at work. Chronic, contentious conflict in the workplace can bring productivity to a halt and damage the health and well being of those involved. We help organizations identify reoccurring conflicts and bring participants into a constructive process for change.

Collaborative Solutions helps participants use conflict as an opportunity to address important differences. The process provides a safe forum for dealing with ‘underground’ issues that have a big impact, but no avenue for expression or resolution in most work environments. We encourage broader understanding of the context, patterns and systems that may be contributing to chronic conflict.

Outcomes often include specific agreements on immediate issues, but may also address longer-term strategies for addressing causes of destructive conflict. The primary goal is to improve conflict interaction and build capacity for working together.

Organizational Conflict Resolution

As member on a board, you feel uncomfortable raising a disagreement or problem, but you feel like the group is wasting time.

As a senior manager you’d like to avoid a formal disciplinary process, but your informal attempts to deal with a contentious employee are not helping.
